Maintenance

Daily Care

Hand wash only with warm water and mild dish soap.
Dry immediately with a towel-never let it air-dry standing on one end, as that can cause warping.

Deep Clean (Weekly or as needed)

Sprinkle coarse salt or baking soda, then scrub with half a lemon.
Rinse and dry immediately.

Monthly Maintenance

Apply food-grade mineral oil or a specialized cutting board conditioner. Let it soak in, then wipe off excess.
Avoid vegetable oils (they can go rancid).

DO NOT

Put in dishwasher.
Soak in water.
Use bleach-it dries out and cracks wood.
